HR Specialist

Gabrielle Smith

Gabrielle Smith has been the HR Specialist for the KU Memorial Unions since June 2023. She was born and raised in Kansas City, MO. She graduated from the University of Kansas in May of 2023, with a BSB in Management & Leadership, on a human resources track. Prior to becoming an HR Specialist, she was an HR intern at a manufacturing company and a credentialing intern at one of the largest medical and dental benefit providers for federal employees. Gabrielle enjoys her role as she gets to help people daily, collaborate with others, and constantly seek new ways to improve processes.

In her free time, she enjoys listening to music, DIY projects, taking/teaching dance classes, cooking a variety of dishes from scratch, and hanging out with family and friends.
